MAW Vriddhi Autocorp has launched the new Seres 3 EV in Nepal. This new version builds upon the popular Seres 3 model, which has been well-received in our market. Despite the recent tax increases on electric vehicles, Seres has maintained the previous pricing for the facelift model. The Seres 3 facelift will be available in two variants: Comfort, priced at Rs 49.99 Lakh, and Premium, priced at Rs 52.99 Lakh.The Seres 3 facelift continues to be powered by the same 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 99 kW electric motor as its predecessor. It boasts an electric range of 320 kilometres on a full charge, based on the WLTP standard.
The new Seres 3 features a new exterior design boasting a more distinguishable and powerful appearance. It gets a redesigned front bumper with 'Seres' lettering instead of the logo. The vertical DRLs are now integrated, below the headlights, adding modern appeal. The elevated front-end design and sharp contours are complemented by 18” alloy wheels and front and rear LED lights.
The Seres 3 measures 4385mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1650mm in height, and features a wheelbase of 2655mm. A longer wheelbase typically translates to increased cabin space. Additionally, it rides on 18-inch wheels and includes a spare tire. Notably, the Seres 3 boasts a ground clearance of 190mm.The interior is characterised by its modern dashboard design and new infotainment systems which provide a spacious and contemporary feel. This is accompanied by leather-style double-cushioned seating with ample legroom. It also gets a 10.25" touchscreen infotainment system with a Fully Digital Driver Information System. The back seat comfort comes with best-in-class headroom, thigh support and shoulder room.In terms of features, the new Seres 3 gets a dashcam, GPS Navigation with offline access (segment first feature), Multi Steering Mode- Comfort, Normal and Sports, ADAS Features consisting of Lane Departure and Front Collision Warning, Heated Front Seats along with 6-way adjustable driver and co-driver seats, Electric ORVMs, All One-touch Powered Window and Widest Sunroof in its segment.Similarly, safety duties are handled by 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Emergency Brake Assist/Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBA/EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), 360-degree camera, Auto Hold, Cruise Control, Hill Launch Assist, and Hill Descent Control, among others.
